Emme Gets a Water Slide for her B-Day.

On Monday, Jason was out of town at Scout Camp, and the weather was hot. so out came the waterslide present for Emmeline. The whole neighborhood seemed to enjoy it.

Lydia Learns To Ride Her Bike!!

Today Lydia ditched the training wheels and decided to ride her bike on her own. She sort of took us off guard with how well she was doing the first time we took the training wheels off!

Who were Lewis and Clark?

Lewis was President Jefferson's private secretary and had military experience. President Jefferson sent him to lead an expedition to explore the west so they could send settlers there and to find a water route to the Pacific Ocean. Lewis was friends with Clark and asked him to help him lead the expedition. Clark had military experience also and, I think, he was in charge over Lewis.

Ballroom Dancing!

Jason got me ballroom dance lessons for Mother's Day. The best part is that we get to take lessons together. Last night was our first class and we were learning the mambo. It was a lot of fun! I felt like we were dating again. I am grateful for in-laws who also made this possible by agreeing to come and watch our kids each week so we can do this.
